Notes: 

Due to the size and weight of most of these older carts C54U is the best bet for the job.

For bigger carts or added loads see the C64 kit.

2 gauge welding lead is the best high amperage cable for these carts.

Soldered or Crimped copper lugs connections are recommended.  

Whichever method you choose must be secure and sealed from acidic vapor intrusion.

About 25-30 ft of cable is needed for the average cart.

Mount the components relatively close each other to minimize waste and loss.

The super 400a solenoid  requires a 3/8ths lugs (2)

The super-duty reversing contactor requires four 3/8ths lugs (4)

Everything else is 5/16ths lugs. There are 13 high amperage  cables total in this system.

The C54U kit must use the SW202 for forward and reverse selection

Use the Super duty reversing contactor with C54U

The reversing contactor kit includes the remote rocker switch and housing. The switch and housing can be mounted on any flat surface or the rocker switch can be cut into any panel or dash.

Each kit contains the proprogrammed solid state controller, a matched super duty solenoid, the electronic pedal assembly, general mounting hardware, a 500 amp main fuse,  and the resistor and diode for the solenoid. Plus complete install instructions and diagram.

All of the components in this kit are 36 volt and 48v compatible. Voltage selection below determines which solenoid precharge resistor is sent. Selections are 250Ω for 36v or 470Ω for 48v operation. 36/48v selection includes both resistors

Universal Solid State conversion for ANY cart

Here is a universal conversion for any old cart with resistor coil speed control

or multi-solenoid speed control or any combination of coils and solenoids.

I have been helping people modernize old carts for years. New technology allows me to adapt these principles to any electric vehicle. 

This kit applies the same principles we have been using successfully with Ezgo and Club Car to any vehicle now.

This kit works on Cushman, Taylor Dunn, Melex, Turf Rider, Harley Davidson, Caroachie, Marketeer, Westinghouse, homemade mule-trains, and more.

The kit includes an electronic pedal assembly which replaces the original pedal.

This 5 wire pedal comes with a 2 foot harness and is wired directly into the system. A few simple crimp connections to the batteries, solenoid, and controller will have the high amperage current flowing to the motor at your command with precise control.

C64U is the best choice. This kit includes a built-in cooling fan which allows the control to sustain peak out longer. The Alltrax SR48600 controller has a 680 amp peak output. Use with a stock motor or any aftermarket motor.  This kit will run on 36 or 48v right out of the box.
